Luxury at the Beach

The homeowners of this Florida home thought the only thing that would  be more luxurious than a beach house would be a beach house with two kitchens.

The Summer Kitchen is a place for family and friends to gather around while cooking on the grill and enjoying gorgeous views.  Full height sliding glass doors in the adjacent family room open up to a panoramic view of the ocean and swimming pool, while leaving the cabinetry and appliances sheltered from the elements.  Other than the 48″ bbq grill by Wolf, all appliances are concealed by cabinetry panels.  Refrigerator drawers accommodate grilling essentials and cold drinks.  An iroko chopping block on the island keeps the work area functional and durable.

The entrance to the main kitchen is flanked on either side by tall paneled Sub Zero refrigerators.  A stone mantle above the range was selected to maintain the elaborate European style of the home.  The island is painted in a soft “English Green” which breaks up the monotony of all wood-finished cabinets.  The table for six attached to the island was a necessity for the homeowners who visit this beautiful vacation home with lots of friends and family.
